Last night I dreamt that the secret to succeeding during the holiday season was to paint BustedTees’ designs on bald dudes’ heads, specifically Snake from Degrassi. If someone could recommend me something to think about outside of BT, Degrassi, and my future re-crowning as the Mayor of The Levee I would appreciate it.

Justin and Marissa met on CampusHook.com, a social network Jakob and I built in the early days of CV, but sold after a year.
Justin’s Profile, Marissa’s Profile
Congrats!
Watch this in case you’re not sure …
A while back, Jake Hurwitz, Vincent Peone and I sat around my kitchen table drinking whiskey and chatted about our high school bands. We were convinced our bands were the best, and immediately made this blog: MyBandRuled.tumblr.com. Several months later we got our first submission from our friend and coworker Jake Oliver.
Check out the blog, reblog, follow us, and submit your best high school compositions!
This should be awesome.
You should go listen to Jake’s song on MyBandRuled, it is awesome. Please try and make it past the first 30 seconds (I know it’s hard) but shit gets rad!

never forget electroclash
I am pretty much an ass to every one I meet, a sweet ass mind you, but still an ass. I did a real ass face move today and I am sorry Dave. We were disagreeing in a chat room about a t-shirt when I picked up ball that I previously had written, “Dave Has NO PUBES” (another ass move) and threw it at him causing a coffee explosion. Dave - I am sorry about your t-shirt, your coffee, and that I tried to start a rumor that you have no pubes via a ball-pit ball.
Teaming up with College Humor on Thursday. Should be bananas.
urdb:
We are performing at CollegeHumor Live this Thursday night at 9:30 at UCB Theatre. Advanced tickets are sold out, but the stand-by line is a solid bet if you show up early enough. Come by and say hi!
Universal Record Database will be at the CollegeHumor show this Thursday (11/19/2009) to document this very funny crew attempt to beat some existing records on our site. Show begins at 9:30 at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Manhattan. If you can’t make it, stay tuned for a recap and photos on Friday.
Whoa, this is a nice little bonus to what is already going to be a great night.
The Field Mouse album is finally mixed, and we are now in the final stages of freaking out/getting shit done before it becomes tangible (or digital, whichever you prefer) package that you can hear from start to finish. Was that a run-on sentence?
Anyway, I was originally going to wait a while longer to post anything new. I figured it had been this long, so I might as well wait until we ship the master out to Discmakers or something more final like that. But lo, here we are, and I’ve posted five tracks out of the twelve that are on the record. I hope you like them, I hope you want to hear more, I hope you will love the album art and the stories I’ll eventually tell about the process, and I am just so happy that this has finally materialized into something that I am truly proud of and excited about.
“You Are Here” will be available in full this winter, and I will let you guys know as soon as there is a release date. Meanwhile…
I am like 99 percent certain I’ve heard this whole album and about 100 percent certain that what I have heard is awesome (Rachel love Letters to Cleo, so it is pretty obvs why I like it). If the music doesn’t do it for you maybe the new promo photos will stoke out your johnson, hubba AND hubba.
Rachel, don’t flatter yourself the boner joke is directed towards Andrew.
i am pretty certain we can do better than that.
Hardly Working: Goodbye “HUH!”
My favorite Hardly Working to date… Matt and I had a lot of fun writing and shooting this. It is the first hardly working written and shot by us. To me the funniest part is the wall of floppy discs. It was something I wanted to include from the moment we had the idea.
this was maybe the saddest hardly working ever.
